Softball field

Note: All town parks have a curfew of 10:00 pm until 7:00 am, except for the Skate Park in Captain Stephen Olney Park, which is only open from dawn to dusk daily. For specific locations and directions, call (401) 233-1445 or (401) 353-7007, Monday - Friday, from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

Baseball Fields [10] > utilized by Little Leagues, Babe Ruth Baseball, and North Providence High School Baseball. Lighted fields: (GNP) Governor Notte Park (1), Lee Romano Field (1), Evans Field (1), and KC Field (2). Others include; Captain DeNinno (1), Birchwood School (1), and Centredale School (2).

Basketball Courts [9] > lighted courts: *Evan's Park (1). Others include; Stephen Olney Park (1), Fell Park (1), Stephen Olney School (2 goals), Whelan School (2), McGuire School (2 goals) and Ivan Street Park (1).

Soccer Fields [3] > Ricci School Athletic Complex

Track [1] > Outdoor at Ricci School Athletic Complex. No dogs please!!!

Pool [1] > Indoor - 6 lane, 25-meter facility at North Providence Pool & Fitness Center; including weight room, aerobic, yoga and karate rooms. Our swim program includes swim lessons for infants to adults. Morning and evening water aerobics classes are offered to adults; as well as; afternoon classes for senior citizens. Do not fear! You need not know how to swim to participate in the water aerobics program - it is held in the shallow end! The shallow end starts at 4 feet and gradually reaches a depth of 12 feet. Open swim is available for families and lap lanes / whirlpool is open during both open and adult (18 & over) swim times. Three lanes remain open at all times for lap swim (except during children's swim lessons). Our lifeguards are both American Red Cross Lifeguard Certified and R.I. State Certified.

Lifeguard Training Courses in conjunction with the American Red Cross are offered each year at the North Providence Pool & Fitness Center. Students must be at least 15 years of age and pass a preliminary swim test prior to entrance into each session that is offered in the Winter and then again in the Spring.
